If I've got 20 minutes tomorrow will it be enough to get the intake manifold off to change the TPS? I guess thats the easiest way rather than fiddling with the TB. Actually I have no replacements gaskets so presumably I would be stooopid to do it without replacing them?

Pointless post maybe

As Daz said, taking the inlet manifold off and replacing it in 20 mins is a no!! To replace the TPS, just unbolt the TB, easy peasy 5 mins at the most, you can usually re-use the TB to inlet gasket, as it doesn't usually fall to pieces, but have another ready just in case!

awesome, cheers guys will do that then. On the old m40 I had to take the manifold off as the bottoms TB bolts were impossible to get to. Will try and reuse the gasket, thanks for the emergency offer simon!!

Not sure what engine you have but on the 325 its litterally a two minute job to take off the throttle body. The inlet manifold is a pain in the ass to take off.
