my beloved beast let go today its the pipe that goes from the heater marix to the back of the cylinder head siple enough but i have an m30 lump in mine and im not sure if
a: its an e30 standard pipe
b: its the pipe from an e28
c: doesnt matter there the same
can anybody help

BMW coolant hoses usually have the part number printed on them.
its a bit old and busted now cant see any numbers on it

A quick look at that forum suggests that you might have an E28 engine, rather than the preferred E34 motor, as it appears that only the E28 head has the outlet elbow on the back of the head that your hose is connected to.

there is an e24 in my local scrappy untuched are the pipes the same?
