M50 is too complicated for you Rav, no coil/dizzy to go wrong you see

The difference is Rav i have done a COMPLETE conversion. Everything has been changed.

I have built a custom engine, changed and uprated everything and all you have to do is fit a 3.64 open diff.

Come on even you can see that a pussy way out.

Well you have had open offers of help Dezzy, I have no issues helping out getting the thing going.
All i need is a hammer and blowtorch

The finishing off list is:-

Fit fan, rad and wire the loom. Done
Fit waterpipes Done
Finish the last of the engine loom wiring off Done (need icv)
Fit inlet manifold, throttle body, airbox, maf and throttle cable Done
Swap to 2.8 injectors Done
Wire in the lamda
Finish welding the manifolds (that i will do this week at work) DONE
Finish bolting the prop up Done (finally)

Swap E34 engine mounts for my 635 ones

Check the gear selector is finished Done
Bleed brakes & clutch Done (brakes need doing)
Fill gearbox oil Done (thanks Steve)
Sort a custom powersteering pipe. DONE
Fit 6 pot code pin to clocks Done
Secure ecu & fit pannel under clocks Done
Fit battery tray and batetry into boot Done
Re fit Jimmy hill and undertray and gearbox sheild
Fit M3 battery cover and M40 loom cover Done (thanks for supplying the M40 cover Mick)
Fit rear M3 14.5mm ARB Done

Finish the exhaust system (make it fit downpipes)
Fit my 16" ronals

Fit dogging blind clips Done
Wire in my becker radio Done (Cheers Alex)


Run it in and get it Mapped

Few bits and bobs now. Getting theer

I have a 4 wire one bud buts its off some french turd.

I have enough length from the loom of yours to just cut and join that though.

I will bell you about that and some other loom issues if that box turns up tomorrow

I have an M50 4 wire lambda mate, think the wiring mat have been butchered near the plug & need re-joining. It's yours if you want it?

Right then. The drive looks a bit strange.



Not under it's own steam but it's defos an improvement.

It's sat on the ramp at work awaiting finishing off.

Fit ivc, TB, inlet boot and airbox
Plug rest of loom in and fan loom to finish.
Bleed brakes and powersteering.
Finish exhaust
Fill coolant
Fit undertray and jimmy hill.

Oh and the clutch is right in the middle of the pedal too!

Getting neverous now.
