Ive not got any pics yet but Ive lowerd my 320 4 door 60mm front and 40mm on the rear with 15" x-spoke alloys but the rear looks to low, seems like its lower than the front?

Anyone got any pics of lowerd 4 doors so I can see what rear springs I need.

Go to my past posts via my profile and look for 'the moordoor' in gallery section, mine is set up 60/55 on 15's...

Is it a facelift?

If so the back will look far lower due to the arch line. However 60/40 seems to be what most people go for for that even look.

I think you must have been sent 60mm rears as well. This happened to me with jammex springs back when I knew no better.

60,40 sits perfect for a facelift with the backs looking level.

Pics would help if you could get them mate

On a facelift?
It can't look spot on as the front will defos be higher than the rear.
Are you going for the speed boat look?

Ill get some pics ASAP

It is a face lift, It is sort of level! if you mesure from the floor to the bottom of the seal at the front its the same as the rear but looking at the car it looks lower at the back, but that could just be the arch level?

They are defos 60/60 springs IMO.
The sill will be level but with the rear arch being lower on the facelift it looks lower at the back. :D

Knackered subframe bushes will make the car sit lower than it should.

That's a common problem on the E30's.....they end up with a reverse rake look. I've got 60/40 setup on my 2 door 316i with a 15mm drop hat installed on the front and it still looks nose high.

It is more common to have the wrong rear springs in a kit.
A 40mm rear spring can not make the front still higher if you have 60mm on the front.

When you see a 60mm rear the tyre is in the arch with 40mm there is about 1/2" gap between tyre and arch.

Unless like above the subframe bushes are fooked.

Possibly 50mm at rear and 40mm at the front from the pic.
Mybe you could try the -15mm gophers in the for sale section. I have them fit to my 35mm H&Rs for perfect ride height on my chromie and no sacrifice of ride quality.

IMO for the perfect ride height on an e30 you have to make a big compromise on ride quality.

But who cares.

i have a chromie and its got the speedboat look going on, just ordered 60 on front and 35 on back, the back is slightly low already cuz of a bass box. jus hope the front dont look too high cuz of the weight from the back.

If the rear beam bushed are fooked, it will sit up to 10mm lower than it would do with sound ones. My convertible was on it's arse and the bushes were shot.

Kami , Got any pics of how yours sits from the side ?
As cant see how 60 rear and 50 front will sit ok
Usual is 60 front and 40 rear for a levelish look on a facelift i believe
And 60 front and 60 rear for a dog wiping its arse on the carpet council. look :P

You have no idea what you have. Your input isn't helping at all.

To me it looks like a 60,40 drop.

Car sits level but the rear wheel is much further in the arch which gives you the speed boat look.

Not my favourate on a facelift. Just my opinion though :D

mine has the gap at the front aswel (speed boat look )... i was woundering out off all the springs on the market which ones sit the lowest ie jamex..apex..h&rs etc... (60mm of course)

Has any one experienced any low springs for the front (with minimal gap from arch to tyre) as im going to have to slam the front soon.
