Imy IMO that looks perfect. Wouldn't go lower or with wider wheels unless your going for a modified look?

Being me, it has to be modified in some way, nothing silly but just the personal touch.johnt0709 wrote:Imy IMO that looks perfect. Wouldn't go lower or with wider wheels unless your going for a modified look?
I'm hoping to stretch my budget to fit some coilovers to go lower properly but will see. Wheels wise, looking at getting at least 9J on the rear and probably 8J on the front.

What wheels are you going for? BBS or something different.
These guys are not far from me and didnt bootyman say he could get discount, plus you can go as wide as you want.

Dont go final reveal, progress pics are better
Oh and keep some loot back from your budget as you will need it when your doing about 10mpg

I'm not looking forward to the MPG but i'm not bothered, i'll only be driving it on the good weekends anyway
8mpg FTW!!

I'd keep some of your budget in the kitty for a new turbo. XS power turbos are infamously wank. It's testament to the spectacular unreliability of this particular engine that the turbo has lasted as long as it has.I'm hoping to stretch my budget to fit some coilovers to go lower properly but will see. Wheels wise, looking at getting at least 9J on the rear and probably 8J on the front.
On the plus side, the car was properly fast.

The 17's are NOT staggered. personaly i dont think toplines are the best wheel for a bmw. it would have to be some style 5's or hartges split rims on your car. I only keep toplines for council types lolImysE30 wrote:Nah 18's will be too big, 17" maxbmw-mad wrote:Bloody heck i cant remember Im sure the 18's are 10j rearsImysE30 wrote: Are they deep dish, 10J at the back?

I'm loving the idea of "low and wide" E30 M3 cab. Was planning to do this myself in the near future. But I definitely would give the toplines a miss.
I would personally go for some ACS Type I Splities. Would look awesome on a low cab with huge poke and stretched rubber.
