Imy IMO that looks perfect. Wouldn't go lower or with wider wheels unless your going for a modified look?

Being me, it has to be modified in some way, nothing silly but just the personal touch.

I'm hoping to stretch my budget to fit some coilovers to go lower properly but will see. Wheels wise, looking at getting at least 9J on the rear and probably 8J on the front.

Low and wide

:D

What wheels are you going for? BBS or something different.

These guys are not far from me and didnt bootyman say he could get discount, plus you can go as wide as you want.

http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/#

Dont go final reveal, progress pics are better 8)

Oh and keep some loot back from your budget as you will need it when your doing about 10mpg :D

I'm not looking forward to the MPG but i'm not bothered, i'll only be driving it on the good weekends anyway 8)

Been away on holiday so not touched it in a week. Just got the brakes lines to fit (one's in the bay), need to get new ones, fit ABS, dashboard and then ready for engine/gearbox etc.

I'm hoping to get it in for engine fitting by Saturday :D

I'd keep some of your budget in the kitty for a new turbo. XS power turbos are infamously wank. It's testament to the spectacular unreliability of this particular engine that the turbo has lasted as long as it has.

On the plus side, the car was properly fast.

The guy who is fitting my engine said the same thing, will see how much longer it can last

The 17's are NOT staggered. personaly i dont think toplines are the best wheel for a bmw. it would have to be some style 5's or hartges split rims on your car. I only keep toplines for council types lol

I'm loving the idea of "low and wide" E30 M3 cab. Was planning to do this myself in the near future. But I definitely would give the toplines a miss.

I would personally go for some ACS Type I Splities. Would look awesome on a low cab with huge poke and stretched rubber.
