I also went out and got the m30 airbox after reading the tread but carnt see how it fit, i think i can work out that the afm goes in side the box ? it just fixing it and the same as Monkey says it hits the tank.

back to the drewing board i really dont want a k&n filter :roll:

If you look closer at the pic you can see that dan`s using a sperate header rad and not the built in header rad.If your using a built in one it wont fit.

if you look at the guide i posted on the first page it should fit with the tank on the rad :?

In the pics DanThe posted up, you can see the 'bendy' bit of the rubber intake boot. In the other pic (and link) from Cook, the 'bendy' bit is inside the airbox, so the airbox will be further back giving more room for the wider rad with built in expansion tank.

after more of a look at the pics that cook posted , i now have the air box fitted but no joy with the maf to throttle body pipe . i think i will be needing an e36 inlet pipe as the oil breather pipe fitting on my e34 pipe wont clear the air box

just got it fitted with an e36 air pipe and the air mass meter fitted inside the box , looks a bit rough but works well .

nickso it an e34 top hose with a bit cut off end . i have been told that an e36 one fits better but i have not tried one

my e36 one fits like shit, but then a lot of bits on mine fit like shit. :)
