This is what it used to look like, a mix and match of facelift and pre facelift wrongness

At the moment it looks like this, this is how i bought it, although its more complete now that in these pics as seller decided to put a lot back on for me

and this is how it looks at the min

seller had tried to tidy up rear valance hence the painted wheel well
it was a bit of a bonus when i went and collected the car as the seller gave me loads of stuff, lights, carpets loads of seals, bits of trim etc etc, a boot cramed full
Ive inspected it for the usually rust and its perfect everywhere apart from the rear panel which has a load of odd small holes all over as you can see in the above picture, i will get them sorted non the less.
Plan is to get looking like a minty cab again, keep toying on the idea of selling the IS to fund a respray and new roof but i'am attached to the turd.
I asked cotswold For some details of the car when it left the factory and it appeared to have had a few nice extras from new

To get it running again i need an oil cooler setup, rocker cover and fuel pump which i have now sourced, I'am going to do away with the oil cooler till i know the engine is sound and i'am going to screw the oil filter straight to the engine block like on the 320i's
been tinkering today

I'am picking up an interior in the next couple of weeks from a zoner in scotland, and i'am picking up a front valance next weekend and ive bought a chrome bumper. also sourced a white door too
Hopefully i will have it running next week
If i could afford it i would have bought a complete one
