I've been running a 3:64 open diff now (in place of the original 3:73) for about the last 4 years. I like the ratio of the 64 especially with the newly installed 2.7. However, I've just aquired a very nice 3:64 LSD on the zinnobar turd Simon and I are currently breaking.
I knew the front to rear brake line and the fuel lines were starting tom scab, the brake flexibles above the diff look shite and that the metal brake pipes in all the rear end area were tatty. Add all that to the fact that Barry kindly informed me the rear beam bushes were passed there best at the MOT in Aug, I felt it was about time I brought the rear end up to the same standard as the rest of the car.
Back in winter 06-07 I refurbed the suspension using new shocks top mounts, Motorsport springs, drop links etc. But this times it's getting personal. I hate getting dirty working on my cars
So here goes, the first installment of no doubt many and Barrys already running the prices on a shed load of parts (thanks mate).
Heres how I found the car today once the covers were off.

soon had its arse up in the air and the stripping started.

Heres how it all is under there now. Still looks good after the last refurb but I'm going deep this time.
