Well looks like the heads gonna have to come off
Think i was a bit trigger happy with the drilling of the head!
Im getting no oil from the spraybar!!! i even ran it with the rocker cover off
dry as a bone
Ive drilled 4 too many holes on the exhaust side rockershaft to cam bearings
It also looks like my supercharger has sucked some crap in from somwhere
and made a mess of the roters

When's the Lakeside thing? Doubt I'll be ready before the end of september at this rate
Had to plead with the guy I buy metal from for him to send me a stick of ali. I'd designed the throttle bodies for the injectors to mount directly in the 25mm thk plate. However, I've thought better of that idea so I need to machine up some bosses to space the injectors from the head a bit.
Sadly, he's off for two weeks today so I'm hoping for a miracle!

They were about $230, but I got them from a guy in the states who had them spare, plus the LC-1.
Ant sourced his from ebay, same ones at about the same price too.
I take it you got the urge now?
Two of the green ones flow more than all six of the std ones, god knows what the fuel consumption is gonna be, ow well to late to worry about that now!
(ooops, wrong sign on

I've got some slightly bigger injectors from a Pug Mi16 which according the Emerald's little calculation should flow enough for about 300bhp on a 6cyl engine. Should be more than enough for my 260bhp aspirations anyway
Anyhoo, just got an e-mail from my mate to say that the material to make my silencer and air box has turned up so I'm gonna be a busy burger this weekend!

The LC1 is the WB02 and a controller, the Emerald has a WB controller internally so you can save a few $$ Andy, I believe the senor alone can be had for $100

I thought i needed the controller to interface with the Emerald.
So i could just get a WBO2 from some where in the UK and hook it up to the ECU ?
What i need though is a cheep lap top PC so i can make use of the data logging on the Emerald.

I was also under the impression that you needed some kind of controller for the WB on Emerald.
Might be worth check with them just to be sure?

I've got a cossie 24v coil pack to wire up as well and the manual doesn't say which pin outs to use with a wasted spark 6 cylinder set up so i'll ask about that as well.

I also want to know which resistors i need to use with the low impediance E28 M5 injectors that i want to use with my TB's.

Aah yeah, there's a different wiring diagram for the DIS 6 cyl. You lose some function or other (can't remember what) when you use a DIS coilpack for 6cyl operation
A mate of mine just bought a cheapish Lap Top from WoolworthsAndy335Touring wrote: What i need though is a cheep lap top PC so i can make use of the data logging on the Emerald.
I would assume its an offer all in their stores.
It cost him Ԛ£349 and seems a fair lap top - he got rid of all the pre-programed software like AOL and the cheap antivirus stuff etc, and it does everything he wanted. The only problem is that the CD drive is a separate unit connected via USB.
Not sure what specs you would need to run the stuff for Emerald, but it might be worth a look.

Only want a basic one, just for MS really, home PC looks a bit strange sat in the passenger seat
But no good for data logging though
James, thats well cheap ! So long as i can get the Emerald OS loaded on to it and it has the 9 pin connector for the serial cable i'm not bothered what else its got feature wise.
Is this the one ?
http://www.woolworths.co.uk/wwstore/pro ... op=details
I've got a mate with a lap top but it hasn't got the 9 pin connector on it
I am a bit scared of getting a second hand lap top incase it has problems i can't fix as i havn't a clue when it comes to lap tops.

Thanks for the info mate
That sounds a weird way to do it ?
The relay wants a constant - and the coil would shurly want a variable intermitant - to trigger it ?
Is yours wired this way ? Did you have to change any thing in the soft ware to change over to this set up ?
