Hi all, i've heard somewhere that there are gains to be had if I put the inlet, injectors and throttle body off a 2.5, I can gain some performance.
Is this true??
Wouldn't I need to remap too?
2.5 inlet and injectors on an M20B20

u can but you will need to open the head up a little. as the inlets are smaller, easey job so I have been told. All this and a re-map will make a diffrence.
also a good cold air induction kit work well.

The inlet manifold and throttle body is a popular swap out of the box. Once you start down the route of bigger injectors and other work you'll need to map for that.Rosco320i wrote:Hi all, i've heard somewhere that there are gains to be had if I put the inlet, injectors and throttle body off a 2.5, I can gain some performance.

You could also fit a 325 exhaust system, I'm fitting one so will let you know.
