The tax runs out on the 325 at the end of October, I'll pull it off the road for the winter and get it all done then hopefully.

Still a few things to do to the motor before it goes in. I need to tidy the bombsite that is my garage and get cracking!

this is the cheapest i've seen a M30 clutch. beware though, depending on the year there are two clutch part numbers. one for the E28 flywheel. one for the E32/34 dual mass flywheel.

Nice one Gareth. I hadn't seen one that cheap! Not sure about the call charges though. Surely there must be an alternative way of getting an order to these people??
Anyone used them?

Hold on hold on. I still got an M30 AND after today's little morning meeting I STILL HAVE A RESTAURANT TO RUN with a rather big lifeline been handed to me....
I must have done something they liked.
The fat lady has certainly been warming up her tonsils but she hasn't broken into song just yet!!

It might be a bit uncomfortable though now! Not to worry though... I'll get the thing running first and then worry about what I'm going to sit on!DanThe wrote:

You knew I wanted them though! Nevermind, the nasty bits will be replaced and if I ever sell them on I will give you a shoutE30Gheko wrote:It might be a bit uncomfortable though now! Not to worry though... I'll get the thing running first and then worry about what I'm going to sit on!DanThe wrote:

Right I'd better get my finger out then eh?
Almost all parts have been sourced. The one bit that has got me scratching my head is the 320i gear linkage that I apparently need. Anyone got a picture of one of these or better still does anyone have one?
I'm planning on taking this to bits at the next available opportunity...

I might be able to get this done on Saturday cos I can get cover at work easily on a Saturday. I'm just waiting to hear if I can borrow the ramps again.
I'm planning on keeping most of the bits from it including the engine. The leftovers are heading for the crusher..
