The steering joint was made up from an "e34 steering joint" that i bought off ebay which was apparently from euro car parts. Although it is different to the conventional e34 steering joint! And the bottom end is a proper e34 steering joint. The bar was shortened and rewelded to the other joint.

spent all morning washing + waxing it. Regained my sight again now though because its so shiny!
