Just got back from the motor factors and got a large bleed nipple that will fit, gonna fill it with chemical metal too just to be safe.

Are we going to have some sort of zone celebration when this thing is finally on the road? It'll be like the end of an era!

Servo & master cylinder are off the car, sorted the spare outlet on the master cylinder now, but the problem I was moaning about with the brake pedal getting stiff and then releasing is the servo.
If I push on the rod from the back of the servo it goes in, then gets stiff then clunks & releases some more, the diaghphram seems to be sucking etc.
I tried this on the original servo I removed and it does the same.
Am I losing the plot here?

Is the rod in line? If its pointing off centre it wont be smooth, I noticed this while adjusting the pedal with no M/C fitted

this bastard piece of shit!
Had the servo off and on again, with the spacer in the end of the m/c I seem to have not that much pedal travel before it just goes solid, I have no fluid in at the moment, is that normal?
If i take the m/c off and then push the pedal I just get the spastic clunking again
FFS I just want to get this turd finished, even working on a school night and all that

With no fluid the pedal should hit the floor

Just be carefull with master cylinders and going all the way to the floor. Because they don't usually do this they can stick and seals break - speaking from experience

After spitting my dummy out on Friday when the lolipop bushes would not go back onto the mounting holes, I managed to get them back on by undoing the main balljoint and dropping the arms down, bolting up the lolipops and then smacking the arms back into position. So front ARB mounts now modified and ARB does not touch the downpipe, so it's back on 4 wheels again.

I also did the rings around the lights in satin black and fitted them back

Then I fitted these puppies

I'm very pleased with the look, will look better once the rest of the interior is back in and actually clean

Coming together under here too

I'm happy with the clearance underneath(this was taken with the camera on the floor) but I guess the first journey over the speed humps that litter the estate will tell

Not got the throttle connected yet as i fitted a new E34 throttle cable, but what bit is missing from the bracket on the throttle body here? I can't see it on realOEM. Must be some sort of plastic insert?

Then I tried to work out why the only door I can open or unlock is the driver door. I did the red/black wire mod to the multipin in the door (you can see the corrosion) but it made naff all difference

Think I'm gonna start another thread about this as it's bugging the hell out of me (not opened anything other than the driver door and tailgate since I got the car almost 2 years ago
So now I'm waiting on a brand new clio servo to arrive in the week so I can get the brakes sorted. I have some braided hoses to fit, which I may well do as the front flexis look a bit perished and the pipes are a bit crusty where they come through the innner wing on the front so I'm going to order some pipes from BMW for the front as they cost buttons.
Nearly there folks

I'd been up the road at a retail park and was on my way to a motor spares place to get a new 1/2" extension otherwise I would have turned into Haxby.
I clocked the E30 straight away as there are few around here, looked nice mate

It's a plastic insert that goes on the end of the throttle cable - I may have one. If I do I'll dig it out and drop it in the post for you
