Is it still possible to get the "Spiral pin with compression spring" part number 34406751588 as an individual item or do i have to buy the whole spring repair kit #34419064266

From my experience the spring repair kit (Spiral pin) doesn't fit / work on a E30! I even asked our local dealer how they were supposed to fit, and there technicians said they didn't know 
If your original back plate is OK then hopefully Cotswold can supply you with just the original spiral pin 34406751588

Cheers, I'll wait to hear from them, I was investigating some rear axle noise, took the disc off and found one of the pins bent 90deg and a bit ground off sitting in the bottom of the drum. :S Everything else seems ok though.
