It certainly was.

Turned out I had THREE knackered ones! 8O

I had an auto electrician round last weekend and he diagnosed it in about a minute, so I bought a brand new one from BMW.

Then in my excitement of having a running engine again (first time in two months) I neglected to tie back the wires to the ignition coil, so a mile and a half up the road they slipped down on to the turbo and downpipe, melted, and it seems likely it has blown something in the ecu! :cry:

My fault entirely, but still bloody annoying! :roll:

Damn, thats a pain in the arse. Mine has a few niggling issues and I am starting to get sick of a 4.45 diff on an m42.

Shame it was a bit empty. I need to try and get to next months, provided I will have the fundage. Mrs86 has reminded methe other day there is an awfull lot for the wedding that is going to been paying for in the next few months.
