Just wanting to know if anybody has converted a 325i to running individual throttle bodies and what the cost, gains etc are? Cheers Chris

Here's some i made earlier
There not quite finished yet,but it's getting there

Manifold is made from 2 standard 6 pot manifolds.
Throttle bodies are by Keihin and from a Suzuki GSX600R
A lot cheaper than Dbilas/Jenvey etc.

I'm working on some too, but they're in the draw at the moment as I've got other stuff at the mo:

Have a search for Dbilas, if your having to pay labour in making up a set they work out considerably cheaper and easier to set up

^What he said
Dbilas is the way forward. I've seen a home made set up and in trying to save money it cost too much time (labour charges perhaps apply) to set up and get running correctly.
If it is simply a case of setting it up for fun then go for it!
Good luck, genuinely, to those having a go with making them themselves. It's great to see all this creativity put in by genuine enthusiasts.

Mine are just being done to a limited budget tbh.
Means a lot less financial outlay for me, and didn't want to pay £350 for a bespoke inlet manifold to run 12 injectors.
IIRC the Dbilas setup still need a mangement systemand mapping to make it work, although it does look very nice.

I have throttle bodies on my 2.7. I don't know of the performance benefits yet as I am still waiting to have it mapped. They make a great noise

I think if you retain the AFM you can use the chip supplied by dbilas to run themBadDave wrote: IIRC the Dbilas setup still need a mangement systemand mapping to make it work, although it does look very nice.

I need someone (Ant or someone else if he doesn't want to?) to do it. Haven't got the knowledge to fully trust myself to map it properly.ShakeyC wrote:Come on man get it mapped !oakey wrote:I have throttle bodies on my 2.7.
