hi gents
nice to hear another M30E30 is on its way.

im currently in the same situation, abit ahead though.
im awaiting delivery of uprated rocker arms, valve springs, oversized valves and new valve stems with aload more from the states. they seem to be taking there time. just need to choose a suitable cam for a large supercharger and i can start rebuilding the head.

having trouble finding suitable breaks for the 318ti E36 setup but thats another story.

good luck with the progress, ill be awaiting pictures :D

sorry to hear that fella. Got my engine out this weekend, head will be stripped tomorrow night I hope and bottom end the following day, then off for lightening/balancing etc.

You can't stop now, I need someone to encourage me to get my donk back in!

Maybe swap this for the other head Theo had?

My original head was cracked and so was the head I bought of Theo as well, thats the one I got to collect from the headshop. Will go there tommorow to discuss my options and whether it can be welded.

I May just pull the whole M30 setup out and replace it with a M50! I cannot take the heart ache no longer!!

Sorry to hear about your trouble's mate :( . Try not to give up now, it'll be worth the effort in the long run :)

If you do change, then at least do a M52 conversion :P :)

This car is now breaking for parts.

If you need any of the following drop me a PM.

Brand new position 2 engine mounts
E30-M30 Loom
M30 gearbox
M30 ECU

There are loads of parts here for completing your M30 swap. Just bear in mind the engine has got no cyclinder head, I can supply some with but they have been pressure tested and they have all failed.
