If you didn't disconnect the ECU it should run the same as before. it has no sensors to tell it what pressure the fuel is at.

well just been for a run and seems to pick up quicker   maybe the flat spot was jus caused because the pressure in the fuel rail needed to build back up (as i must have lowered it when takeing the old regulator off) :thumb: im happy with the results anyway

The 2.5 is from a 320 and the 3.0 is off a 325 or 318 all you do is overfuel the engine so you need to add a bigger throttle.

As long as you put it back together properly and the fuel lines are in good condition i can't see how you think it causes a fire ?

You don't even need an adjustable regulator unless you have some serious modifications going on.

An FSE valve set alight to my engine twice that's correct so I wouldn't recommend them although I've had to buy another one because my engine won't run properly without one.

Serious mods like Adams 2.8 M20.

You should be ok with your original one.

No, serious mods are things like MAF conversions and engine internal swaps of parts etc. Bolt on parts don't require one.

I don't know how it managed to set my car alight, it just went bang and caught fire. Thankfully both times I was able to extinguish the fire rapidly so only minimal damage was done under the engine bay.

when i fitted it i checked all the joints for leaks before i went out in the car no leaks (obviously) all the jubilee clips and pipes were secure or i wouldnt have drove it im not sure what make it is but didnt see any markings to suspect it is a fse was just told it was adjustable and was set up for a 325i sport it does seem to improve throttle response as the accelleration seems quicker ????
