after reciently fitting my new mf, im worried about the arrowed part,s gettin too hot,the car is a daily drive and i didnt realise how much heat comes off it,i dont realy want to tape it up...?thank's

forget heat shield, you may as well heat wrap the manifold, they says it cuts engine bay temperature slightly and somehow benifits in other ways too. . . im not sure if any of thats true but i had a mk1 golf cabby with a 16v motor in it with the manifold heat wrapped and none of the wires in that got burnt or anything. . . not very pretty looking though?
