Dont put live fish in your e30?

Or you could try sound insulation foam/ sound deadening material

Check the nuts on the boot as my dad had a vibrating boot problem which turned out to be nuts working them selves loose.

If it i that it might be worth either swapping them for locking nuts or put some loctite on the threads.

normaly the lock or latch come undone. so but tighting this you will pull the boot lid down more and will stop the rattling , wen i had my 2x w12gti the only thing stop it shaking was 5mm steel sheet weld to the lid and then dynamatted on top.

It's probably the plastic number plate surround vibrating against the rear of the car. I sorted it by putting a rag between the Plastic and the steel of the shell of the car.

While it was off I gave the whole area a good clean and a polish and wax too. Just in case some rust was trying to start in there.
Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.

The air is always gonna try to escape somewhere ! ( Causing mucho vibraton ) Try porting the shelf.

porting the shelf wont help stop the vibrating , but will help with sound, but if you got a ski hatch then there no need to bother.
