This is the worst on the crank, main end no.2 Now i thought it was a score but a closer look has showed it's actually the coating off the shell and should polish off a treat
No.1 main end cap shell, this is why i got into a flap!
main end no.4 thrust washer one, nothing bad on this

I've just got back from my dads and these are the measurements
Main ends are all exactly the same @ 59.97mm Standard shell size 60mm. So all is good here
Big ends vary between 44.983mm and 44.978mm, Standard shell size is 45mm
We are off the opinion this won't be needing a regrind and is raring to go still! My old man seems to think i may have caught this at just the right time as it could of got alot worse in the next few 10k or so......
I think we have saved major future dramas, happy bunny then
