Interior is stripped out completely. I took the dashboard out to make it easier to remove the old alarm wiring and shonky immobilisers that were fitted in the past. I also retrofitted cruise control and an OBC at the same time. Makes a neater job with the dash out

I steam cleaned the carpet and then dried it thoroughly with the space heater. Thankfully the red was colourfast and came up like new

Now it's time for the waxoyl. I warmed the tin to 40 degrees and then blast it in...

Removed the chassis rail plugs and filled up in here too...

and here..

and here..

and here..

I got through nearly 5 litres of waxoyl just doing the insides of the panels, cills and rails. It ran out of the car for days after; It really does get in everywhere with a good high pressure sprayer, warming the fluid is a must for best results too.
Finally back together for a few weeks then its off to have a new genuine roof fitted followed by some tittivation to the trim and leather.

All done

to that interior!!!!!!!!!!!!
