Thanks Ric, it does look a little confusing, but I think mostly because it's not very neat!
It's all quite logical if you look at where everything goes to.
Anyway, time for an update.
Here is the intercooler being dummy fitted;
And all back together, nice and subtle, you can just see the intercooler behind the bottom of the IS lip.
I'm in the process of fitting these Audi guages;
M3 propshaft and 2.93:1 l.s.d. awaiting fitment;
But the main thing is....
.... it's running!!!
I got the car towed to Ant who mapped it for me, although I couldn't afford the rolling road set up just yet but it's mobile again and passed the M.O.T.
I've not really had a dry day to try it out to it's full extent but it's certainly a right handfull on cold, damp roads.
I've experienced wheelspin in fourth gear as the boost comes in at errrrm... quite a lot of miles per hour!
Keeps your attention sharp that does!
Fuel consumption is a bit

though!
There are a few little issues to sort out, including repairing my exhaust which I smashed on our horrid driveway, got to mig that back together tomorrow.
I've also had a sunroof catastrophe where a mounting screw for the motor fell out and the whole things shut all wonky, I had to duct tape it up on one side for now.
My boot is full of water so I've ordered a new boot seal (I did the tail light gaskets a while ago too), and my black five-spokes turned out to be shaped like 50 pence coins.
Today, after buying shorter wheel bolts as these wheels are thinner around the bolt holes, and grinding down the raised outer parts of my E32 / E34 calipers to clear the inside of the spokes and having a set of Bridgestone RE040 tyres I had stashed away from my old Nissan 200sx fitted, I got these Lenso RS5s on.
They are noticably lighter in weight than my buckled five-spokes too!
The tyres are 205/45 x 17, as oppsed to my previous 205/40 x 17, and I can say that the ride has improved, although there is a little more scrubbing on the wheel arch liners on full lock now, can't have it all!
Still plenty of work to do and a few plans to improve things, but I've already been baiting Imprezas, Porsche 911s, big Mercs, Jags and other expensive machinery.
