
Probably an amateur question I know, but I searched and could not find an answer, so, how do I sort this minor glitch in this evenings plans?

I jacked up the leg with a trolley jack whilst jamming my boot against the back wheels of the jack,undid the top bolt,then lowered the jack...It shot back like a rocket and nearly took my flippin' ankle off!!It damaged the thread too..
