is it maybe worth trying another gasket, just incase there's a manufacturing fault with that.

you need to try that gasket against a bmw head to be sure where the problem lies, if the manifold is at fault it will cause some power and running issues as im sure you have guessed.
No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.
