Guys

Whats the best gear for removing tree sap normally i just polish till it comes off but does anyone have any tips or suggestions??

Dont park under trees! :teehee: Sorry, couldnt resist! :o: Try 'muck off' or I think Mequires do something for it.....

Washing it with warm/hot water always works for me.

I'd be suprised if hot water would remove all the sap Trev, Depends on how well protected the surface was before it bonded.

You old bus will probably repel dirt with the level of cleanliness you maintain :wink:

Tree sap is nasty stuff :twisted:

At work we use 'clean / neat' thinners 8O
Risky business, but as long as you dont leave it on the paint work long its usually fine :mad:

TFR dosnt really work that well, but if you put bits of cloth soaked in TFR on the effected areas it will eventually penetrate it... God the times Ive had to flat and polish roofs and bonnets because some tit has used a brillo pad :screwy:

best stuff ive found for this is chemical guys heavy deagreasant, diluted 1/4. spray on, leave for a couple of minutes. then rub with microfibre wash mitt then wash off with jet wash
