about changing my very slow tappee 318i engine to the 318is.


i.e how easy is it and do i have to change everything

The M42 is OK... What you need in the heavier cab is a nice M20B25 to cruise around in. MUCH faster all round too.... winkeye

yes i agree with you but the m42 convertion just seem alot easyer to do when it seems to be just a swop over.

the next thing i need to is to find a rotten but with good engine 318is and as cheap as i can find one.

your best bet will be to buy engine etc rather than rotten IS

will be cheaper and easier to find

what sort of price would i be look at to pay for an engine change, and is there any one willing to do one at a good price.

it can all be done my end :D ,i wont be ready till sept/nov
