So Dave do you think if i went ahead and installed a 5-Speed id get a better power output or do you think having a slushbox may have made the power output look more positive?

Anyway I think upgrading to a Halfords panel filter was the key really.

I bet it did cost more, but it needn't I know you could beat 200bhp all day long with a basic 2.8L build, remember mine was built and paid for by Adam too, I'm only bearing the development cost of my new 2.9L/3.0L M20 which some of the cost will be recouped by selling the old engine, and don't forget its still on the log manifold and fuelling is all over the place. 250bhp N/A is the goal. and I think its achievable. 5 bags deep and nearly ready to assemble.
Gareth over here mate, (well not my car but my dads)

so you were 2bhp more, and missing alot less torque??
Mines being remapped soon, this should see more power and torque because the fuelling is terrible, and I'm dropping the FSE powaaah boost fire starter valve too. Should be fun.

This is what I have planned and the addition of a very sexy racing dynamics 6 branch manifold, but this will require fettling to fit with the e36 rack. Thats the rub I don't want to pay for extra mapping after the management is fitted because ofthe 6 branch so it all has to be done at the same time, and most important to me is that it all looks factory.

Still pleased i matched (beat) your wicked motor Eko that engine bay is pure sex. winkeye

I was very happy with the dyno results, most powerfull 2.5L M20, bar the charged E21 which made some cool noises!

Er thats me behind the scooby, but i went straight on to go home and went about 5miles down that road and did a "diff-turn" and went up the road you guys went up completly lost  anyway i was hauling though some stupidly twisty roads with major negitive camber on my biscuit tyres and i caught up with you guys.

I was trying to pit maneuver the scoob but the tourer kept getting to close, i did beep as i was pulling out of the pub to head of up the A303 to say thanks cos i could have been lost for weeks.
