Something tells me its not going to be that easy!
Sounds like £450 is roughly equal to 2 knee caps and food through a straw for 3 months. I take it you don't have an address?

This does not need to get out of hand, i have been talking to Aaron and he is willing to sort something out, we just don't know what yet.
I Just really want to know what people think, is it unfair of me to ask for all of my money back?
Taking into consideration Aaron did not want to post this because he said he does not really know how, so i told him to use parcel force 48 but Aaron did not use this, he used Royal mail first class instead.......
Also take into account that Aaron will be left with nothing if he gives me all of my money back.....

To post to where?
What was the weight of the parcel i'm guessing it wasn't light?
What did he say it cost to post?
As for the rest if he was stupid enough to send 450 quids worth of items without recording it then yes he should refund ALL your money!
What proof has he they were ever sent???

Wether he wanted to or not, he agreed to post the items for you ! How hard is it when posting an item to pay for additional insurance and recorded delivery at the time !
Pure stupidity, he owes you all the money, end of !

Yes Royal mail first class to Jersey in the channel islands, the parcel weighed about 25kg and it should have cost £25 to post which is what the parcel force website stated.......SPADGE wrote:So he used royal mail 1st class did he?Trise30rally wrote:This does not need to get out of hand, i have been talking to Aaron and he is willing to sort something out, we just don't know what yet.

And just to add if he says it didn't go with Royal Mail themselves but with Parcelforce then he will paperwork and a booking reference to prove this. Even if he hasn't got the booking paperwork a qucik call to the depot it was posted from with your address details and a date will tell you if it was sent and if so where it is now.

He's messing me about again, i have had no contact since friday!
His last contact was offering me £250 as a refund and i told him to make it £300
Seems more than fair to me!!!
Seems i may have to get the petty depts court involved.

Seems to be stacking up against Mr Agreen doesn't it.
My bet is that they cost £700, he has made £450 out of you, then he'll sell them to his mates for a knock down £300 and still be in the money.
These would cost at least £10 to send due to their weight, you WOULD get a reciept for that(even if its just a card receipt or something). Its not as if you can chuck a couple of first class stamps on it!!
COCK!

There's many ways to make him budge. The fact he says he won't pretty much proves he had no intention of sending you the goods.. but if you let him off, he will p!ss all over you by the sounds of it.Trise30rally wrote:He is meant to be e-mailing me today saying when he will give me some money back.

I'm pretty damn sure his walking ability is worth more than 200 notes to him. If not, sounds like elbows need to be worked on too.
Personally I'm not one for the ol' bill... but I'm certainly not one to be taken for a mug.. I'd be paying the "man" (term used _very_ loosely) a visit.. even if it meant driving the length of the country.. either way, as has happened in the past with bad deals (not related to this forum)... they always pay in the end..... one way or another (access to hospitals isn't that difficult either if you need to revisit)
Regards,
Ian

very decent of him to take £450 of you, not send the parts and offer you slighly more than half your cash back.
theres 2 courses of action , the police or taking matters into your own hands whether personally or through a 3rd party.
as your so far away from him, a personal visit isnt realistic and unless you are confident you can recover the original amount and cover your expences for the trip id offer up a percentage of any amounts of cash retrieved to anyone local who wished to act on your behalf to recover the debt.

He has obtained goods by deception. Legally you have the right to call the police as they will have a nice little chat to him. just get all your docs evidence of communication etc and you'll be fine. Good luck with it all!

I find it a bit silly that a zoner is £450 outa pocket and the seller is still allowed to sell stuff on the zone arrange group buys...let alone reply on this thread with what looks like a blatant scam....ummmm lets hope none of these boys dont get stung

He is not actively running a GB at the moment though? He has not been active on here for a while from what I have seen.
Arron, If you are reading this (I'm fairly sure you are tbh) please get in contact with me. This is a really bad show from someone who had a good track record up until now.

I wouldn't take a penny less than all of it inc the shipping money and then i would want extra on top for him trying it on with me in the first place!

Right. Read this if it doesn't make perfect sense, you are stupid:
If he sent the item, he would have some proof of postage.
If he did actually send the item, there is no way on earth anyone would give even half the money back(when its off a large value) due to a royal mail 'fuck up.'
It seems perfectly obvious he has just made £200 for doing nothing except answering a few PM's and calls.
Tris, I am sorry you got fucked, i really am. I can see how you would prefer £250 rather than losing it all. There isn't a lot you can do really apart from make some equiries as to how best to go forward. Do you involve the courts or can you contact the police. I really don't know.
The only problem is the £250 which you have understandably accepted as to be honest its all you will get out of this in my opinion.
What a cunt.
If i'm wrong and proof of postage appears then i'll apoligise. I am also worried that if it does and was insured, maybe he has made the royal mail give his £450 back and only given £250 back to the buyer, again £200 in profit

Of which, you should send back and demand, not ask for, the full amount. Accepting the "keep him quiet" payment, might look like you're happy with that amount (clearly you're not, but........).Trise30rally wrote:Arron gave me £250 back today.........
He owes you no less than £450... (more like at least £500 for the fsckin about IMO) and..... well, you can read above.. the fella obviously needs to be taught a lesson too.

Ian

Bloody hell I just caught up with this! To send that sort of monies worth through unregistered post is lunacy. + you requested it was sent ParcelForce 48. If he was unconfortable about sending the goods in the first place then he should have just refused to sell you the goods. This is all his loss. Full stop. 450 in full or call the old bill. Simple.

Ok boys, thanks for your help but,
In no way did i want any of you to phone Arron and leave him abusive messages
This is out of order.
I have excepted half the money back from him and given him the benafit of the doubt.
Please stop calling him and pm'ing him, it is really upsetting him and not helping as in our eyes it is over.
