the m20 mates up perfectly, the four main bolts all alighn up as if bmw meant it, but the smaller bolts need to be drilled abit to fit, but not important!!

m20 fly wheel, clutch kit and m20 starter.

the smaller bolts are out slighty, someone else has mentioned this before aswell in the threads, box slightly rotates bit more than the m50 box.

Most of the E36 325i's have a getrag box that bolts up perfectly and uses the smaller guibo (of course you'd need a 3.15 diff to have the same ratios as an M20 getrag box)... Also I think the M42 gearbox works (which can use the E30 diffs). The only trouble with using the M20 one is that it sits at slightly the wrong angle.

You sure? - I thought lifting the rear to drop the front panel and let the engine/box go in straighter?
...or is it?
