M3 diff???

is the ratio 3.25 and what r they woth and r they any use in a sport?

They sure are 3.25 (or at least some are?) The lower the number, the higher top end speed and less acceleration. So if fitted to a 325i it would give you a higher top end but slightly less acceleration than the standard 3.73 or 3.64??? for the 325i
I think tourings had something like a 4.10 ratio which would give the opposite result

You don't want a 3.25lsd it will be pants in a sport
Mk1 sports were fitted with a 3.64lsd and the Mk2's were 3.91.

Did they use different ratios in the Early/late sport boxes, or did they just change the diff ratio to make the later ones accelerate quicker?
