Its brake pad warning light.
Pads might not be gone though, inspect them. Often the brake pads are replaced and the brake pad wear sencers are not.

Since the light is flickering rather than always on, its probably the dry joint problem on the instrument cluster rather than a 'sensor'.march109 wrote:Sorry brian are you saying its a different problem or that a 220 ihm resistor will replace the the brake pad wear sencers?Brianmoooore wrote:220 ohm resistor!

IIRC front right and rear left have sencers. If you are facing the car.

Front left and rear right calipers have sensors.march109 wrote:IIRC front right and rear left have sensors. If you are facing the car.
If you have rear drums, you only have a front sensor.

Or front left and rear right, if you are facing forwards.march109 wrote:IIRC front right and rear left have sencers. If you are facing the car.
All lefts/rights, forwards/backwards, front/rear on any car are taken from as they would be sitting in the driver's seat.
