I bought a set of wheel studs from Rallydesign ages ago but have now decided I would like to fit proper shouldered ones.
Is there anywhere else apart from Demon Tweeks to buy these from?

Ha! I know speed shack, many days were spent offloading alloys from west Drayton scrap yard while I should have been at class!

Perfect thanks for that Dan, looks just the ticket. I take it 75mm bullet nose is the best option? Currently running standard 15" BBS but may look to go for something else that requires a spacer in the future. 90mm would obviously cover all bases but seems overkill if I am never going to use them!
Thanks
Thanks
I use the 90mm Turner studs on my race car. They are great, but I needed to buy an extra long socket to engage to wheel nut when fully torqued. This in itself is not a major issue, it might just be inconvenient should I ever "mis-place" this socket.
Remember.. cheaper is rarely better.. and when you are talking about wheel studs (pretty important items), cheaper is probably never better.
EDIT: Here is a picture of them fitted (showing how long the 90mm studs are with a spacer).

Thanks guys, my new studs arrived this morning from Dan's link. They are TUV approved so quite happy that they are fit for purpose.
I guess I just screw them in using 2 nuts with locktite to the standard wheelnut torque?

Use a 5.5mm (IIRC) hex key to screw them in, make sure you clean the hub threads out with brake cleaner and a tap before fitting or the loctite will not work properlywinx wrote:Thanks guys, my new studs arrived this morning from Dan's link. Im surprised you have gone for the ones TheDan posted up, most manufacturers have moved on to a fine pitch fastener, including BMW!
Im sure they will work fine.

The wheel bolts never came loose before on track so I can't see that these will, hence purchase!
If I was interested in telling people how my finer pitch thread is better than their standard thread then I would have course bought the 1.25 pitch or whatever the latest trend is
