I have just had a good look at my 325 tourer and with the car running I can see oil dripping from the oil filter housing at the front. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this
Thanks, Andrew
Oil leak (oil filter housing)

Hi, i had the same problem with my 325i convertible, my dad changed the oil filter relief valve but the leak remained, it turned out the leak was from the oil pressure switch so it might worth changing both of these. The valve is about six quid from the dealers and the switch is about 9 quid from GSF. I dont have the part numbers to hand, but can get them for you in a couple of days.
Thanks,
Umar.

Thanks for that mate, do you know where the oil switch is fitted. On mine I can see where the oil is coming from right in front of the oil filter there is a big bolt about 19mm I would say, and its dripping from there

You'll probably need part number 5, a common leak comes from the valve assembly and BMW now supply the repair kit for it(number 7).
