on the last m30 I did it had the hose coming from the back of the engine,
This one has it too so I was thinking IԚ´d use it the same way as the M20/M40 and all the other E30 engines have the coolant hoses routed??

Your using an early M30 then ? E23/24/28
I'm not sure on the M20/40 set up, sorry
I wonder if you can use the later E32/4 blanking cap to block it off ?

But I can use this way
as I can use the pipe, this will make it just alike the M20 head and M10 and so on,
but how do you do it when you donԚ´t use this and use the later ones??

Like this with an M20 header tank and E34 top rad hose.
I just thought you would have a clearance issue with using that union

is this used for what??
Thanks
