DOES ANY ONE KNOWS WHY CAMS ON M42 ENGINE ARE ADJUSTABLE? WHICH IS THE BEST WAY TO ADJUST THEM TO GET MORE LOW END TORQUE? :eek:

and that will reduce the low end torque i believe... and ruin the idle!

I'm sure someone recently said they were going to do a article on this...

Demlotcrew did this to his 318is, wait for him to come along.

I dont think it ruins the idle but true about the torque

the whole thing goes like this: 5 degrees advanced inlet cam leave alone the exsaust cam get a 325 driveplate- clutch- disk- bearring (its lighter and fits m42), KN filter, free exsaust system and a program to run the angine up to 6900rpm and u get a soft racing car i was told...crap or true u tell me boys!!!!! :cool:
