M42 HELP NEEDED

DOES ANY ONE KNOWS WHY CAMS ON M42 ENGINE ARE ADJUSTABLE? WHICH IS THE BEST WAY TO ADJUST THEM TO GET MORE LOW END TORQUE?

and that will reduce the low end torque i believe... and ruin the idle!318-is wrote:advance 5 degrees on the inlet cam im told

I dont think it ruins the idle but true about the torque

the whole thing goes like this: 5 degrees advanced inlet cam leave alone the exsaust cam get a 325 driveplate- clutch- disk- bearring (its lighter and fits m42), KN filter, free exsaust system and a program to run the angine up to 6900rpm and u get a soft racing car i was told...crap or true u tell me boys!!!!!
