Tight steering

My car failed an mot the other day on a ball joint so I have replace the wishbones and drop links all went well and I took it for a test drive but now my steering feels responsive but tight and doesn't return to center on its own, is this normal I have I down something wrong

I have just looked again and think I tightened the ball joint nut to much, I have just backed it off and it's better

Dont forget to get the tracking done as well, it makes a difference to it when you change all those bits.

Impossible, the balljoints on the wishbones do not work like that and should be tight up to the subframe and wheel strut, definitely not loose!
Poor steering feedback is most likely due to the change in wheel alignment as said above

I did mine on an e30 years ago and I could barely drive it home from my friends house until it was tracked the next day.
