Taken from the Wiki:
"Remove the panel from the rear of the seat by undoing the two screws at the base. Locate the large cross-head screw near the bottom of each side of the frame upright section. If the seat back is wobbly it is almost certain that these screws have worked loose.
Use a large philips screwdriver which is a good fit in the head of the screw to tighten these right up ( a small screwdriver won't do it and they'll work loose again.) Then refit the rear panel. "
However, if the frame has been left loose for too long, there is a chance something will have snapped and you'll need a welder to fix it. Hopefully it's just that screw though.

Hi guys, had a look at the seat earlier and the L shaped bracket has snapped. I will get this welded but I now have an issue with the tilt mechanism. It doesn't always lock in place and will recline aswell as drop seat height!!
Not ideal when when driving. Any ideas....?
Thanks.

The two are connected.....
My passenger seat was the same once the bracket was welded on and everything refitted it was fine.
The seat is out of alignment as the bracket is currently broken so has movement to slip out of tilt..

Well took the back off the base and took the whole base to have the bracket welded.
Came home, re-assembled and put back in the car. As soon as i sat in the seat and lent back....... clunk!!
There she goes again!
Ahhhhh..... the joys....

Ok, well what i think i will do first is have the bracket welded and then see how i get on. If i still have issues with my mechanism then i will look into replacing them on both sides.
Thankyou for your advice.
