I bought it in Jan 2011, its a 1989 tech 2 sport on staggered Alpina's, with silver leather, factory A/C, cruise control and 227K on the clock.
Some Pics of when I first picked it up, I sold the number plate straight away for a lot more than I expected!

Everything was standard, I serviced it and drove it in the summer months while I got to learn more about E30's, Meeting and Selling parts to so many zoners has helped alot! I sorted a few minor issues, fitted some furbed injectors then got new front tyres and lowered it on 30mm Eibachs. The front jacking pads were fooked, had them sorted by a reputable local garage.

By this point (Jan 2012) I was totally in love with the car, never missed a beat! I knew I was gonna have to take the kit off at some point and have a poke about... almost put it up for sale once or twice!
Decided eventually to keep it, run it for another summer then get to work, so glad I didn't sell her now!
I jacked it up and started cleaning the arches out this morning whilst waiting for Jim and Kedge to arrive, they kindly offered to help tear my car to pieces and hunt for the brown stuff, Well I found a hole in the battery whilst waiting for them, but I already knew that was fooked, they turned up and it all came off quite quickly

Evidence of some dodgy repair?

Not the best pictures, but its been a good day and nowhere near the amount of rust I expected! The rear end had been restored 5 years ago, to a very high standard from what we've seen today! I'll get better pics next week. Jim was hoping he'd be taking another breaker home for peanuts but not today my friend!!winkeye
Bought a 325 touring off Kedge last week for winter duties, its awesome!

Plans now are to deal with the rust, major undercarriage tlc, got a 170mm tech 1 wheel coming (thanks Rav) and a 330 clubsport rack and pipes (thanks Dan) refurb rear beam, struts, new calipers, shocks, Eibach ARB kit, hubs, all susp bushes etc.
Will update this as much as I can but don't get much spare time, ideally want it back on the road by March!
