

He brought a rebuilt M40b18 to replace a suspected failed hgasket m40 lump that was in when we fetched it.
So in the not so warm months we changed it.



It was then that we found the odd bit of rust.

Then a bit more and so on,


Removed the bumber and found this,

we had already decided to change every bush on the car and fit a rear disc upgrade,so we started stripping it back to the bone,



Which just led to more surprises where someone had already `attempted` to repair some holes,which failed miserably.There idea was to slap some patches over the hole on the inside of the car!
So out with the grinder and do some cutting,




What comes out has to go back in,

We`ve doing this over the last few months nearly every weekend
Just got the nsr outer inner arch to do this weekend and then a couple of little holes in the outer cill and then start putting it all back together lol
