I have a late 1989 2.3 E30 M3 UK Spec. The clutch pedal occasionally sticks, by that I mean when the pedal is depressed some time it stays depressed and you have to pull the pedal back up yourself.
Any ideas whys this is happening? Is it the mechanism sticking? It is a bit interesting at traffic lights especially when the clutch sticks and your sat there revving the engine!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes the slave and master cylinders are the same as all of the E30 range.
