Removing gear shift link rod from selector rod on box

How the hell do you do it without removing the prop shaft/gearbox???

If it's any consolation, it can be replaced in seconds.
Don't be afraid to get a bit rough with the clip, it's faitly tough, and can be bent back into shape when it's off.

Ok, but how the hell do you get item 19 off??? Ram a screw driver in it and bend like buggery?? Do you then have to knock the pin (item 18) out??
