I was looking around on Ebay the other day and noticed some flipout keys with built in LED lights. The key is blank and according to the seller they can be taken to the local locksmith and be cut for an e30.
Do any of you have this?

Blue LED's instantly sping to mind. Domt do it dude
I bought some spinner wheels for my subs a while back from America, but i never bothered to fit them. The are baisicall 12" spinners wheels that go on top of you subs and is wired to your head unit or wher ever you can get a power source, then they spin when you stereo is turned on. At the time i thought they were really cool, but now i'm really glad i didn't fit them, cause they are set to be the next big thing on chav circuit.
They are for sale by the way if anyone from the zone fancies them??

.....argh i hate being called that
Anyhow i was looking at these due to the fact that the key that came with my car looked as if it went through a toaster! I was looking for a replacement key and the flip keys looked cool to me. Another car in the family has the flip out style key and i really love it. Idk what made you think of 12" spinners lol.

If you pull the key out of the ignition at the wrong angle, for example if in a rush or "exasperated", it bends
I've got a bent key too

Mines actually twisted, it still works but it's obviously 16 years of turning the ignition on. And the spare has no light in it so the other one has always been used, bulb only stopped working a couple of months ago!

If you live near Basingstoke I can cut you a new key (only standard boring type I'm afraid).
Seriously cheap for zone members too ;)

was in a merc the other day and its key flipped round.
I wouldnt mind one, how much posted to the UK will they be?
Ive lost my slim key and only have the one with the light (which doesnt work) and its also attached to like a little leather pouch.
Anyone else got this type?
Also where can i get new batteries from?
Cheers,
Adam

The batteries are just normal 3v lithium jobbies (same as in a watch or on your pc's motherboard!)
You can get them from Tesco's etc. Failing that a camera shop will be sure to do them.
Just crack the head open and see what's inside (probably a CR2032 or CR2016)
