I need a race seat for my rally car but i don't know what is good.... my budget is 2 to 3 hundred.....

I looked at the Corbaux sprint 2k but a mate of mine bought these and he had to make new mounting points for it to go on, is there any that will bolt straight onto the original mounting points?

Also, where would you reccomend fastening your harnesses? I can see enough points on the back bench to mount them with eye bolts, do you think they will do?

Cobra do an E30 mount for their side mounted seats, and base mounted seats- give Niel at Automac a call, he can supply you

And mount the harnesses to your roll cage, get shoulder traps that wrap around the bar, not using the eyelets, and the other 2/3/4 points can go in the floor, use the proper eyelet bolts and weld them under the floor

Best bet will be to add a harness bar to the cage IMO

Dont use the rear bench

I asked about doing that but my mate who fitted the cage said that the scrutineers would not like it because that cross bar is bolted in so if you weld harness bars in they won't be impressed........

Can you buy bolt in mounts?

scruts will always prefer a welded assy to a bolt in.

if the seat won't fit with a straight bar then you could have one this shape

\______________________/

that might help it clear the seat back, i've seen it done before in cars where the seat must be mounted on the cage
