stock is "2.25 x 2
find a custom exhaust shop and get material from there if you are going to weld it up yourself.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

I worked out that you'd need a 2.1" system throughout. The BTB manifold is twin 2" outlets so I'm going to run that all the way through using the BTB manifold, a Supersprint E30M3 backbox and a freeflowing custom centre section to match.

Dameon has the full BTB system at 2" throughout and it works excellently, making the full quoted BMW torque and power. Not bad at all considering the manifolds were adjusted to fit (by BTB)...

Good luck dude.

Is the fact you s are running without cats not giving a gain or is it just making up for the fact that he manifold is nt quite what bm designed what box did you use in the centre section Jai

I got 275hp@7k(stopped by the speed signal not beeing connected, was still rising) using "2.25 and 330nm torque@3750 on my B30

I was using a what was supposed to be a

"2.25 header pipes into a single "3 collector, then again into two "2.5 pipes leading to a custom made silencer in the back, .

turns out when I took it off years ago, the "3 was only a "2.5
and it turns out that it is one of the reasons my engine used to knock and my valves burned,.
so don´t restrict the exhaust.

I´ll be using 2 x "3 when I use a S50 next time around

turns out when I took it off years ago, the "3 was only a "2.5 so your system was basically restricted to singlle 2.5 how much damage did it do to the engine think ill be going 2x2.25 or 2x2.5 2x3 is just rediculous think it s only a single 3 on my sub and that massive
