Seems I have a sticky drivers side front. It seems to catch when on the move, they look ok, no movement where it shouldn't be and the discs and pads are only a few weeks old, so hopefully not warped. I've checked this by eye and it seems flat. Just seems the calipers won't release the disc fully.
So what are my options?
Rebuild kit and a few hours fun..........or...........buy some s/h or new and just refit.
What can the masses suggest?

Dodgy brake hose (collapsed)
Sliders may need a wire brushin and copper slippin same as 4 the carriers. other than that its a new/recon caliper

I had them apart only a few weeks ago and no obvious signs corrosion or missing seals etc. I'll have them off tomorrow and strip them down, clean and refit, see what happens.....

p.s. just for peace of mind, the sliders are the rods the outer part of the calipers rides on, right?

By the way when u get the sliders out u might want to take a close look at them and make sure there not bent. Very common prob too

Been a busy bee and found me a s/h set that are in vgc, so hopefully I'll just have to swap them and maybe take a peek at what was wrong after.

Dont ever copperslip the sliding pins !!
the rubber guides on the calipers require silicone grease as lubrication, anything made from natural rubber ( like the guides in q ) will swell when exposed to oil based products... like copperslip.
Dont do it fellas, its a quick soloution for a few weeks but makes the problem worse long term
