8 inch wide alloys

hi,would 8" wide alloys fit nicely if the car is lowered 60/60 or would there be some work involved with the arches?thanks

Depends on the diameter of the wheels as well really

they are 17s with 40 tyres

I'm running 17x8.5 with 215 40 17's and I've beaten the inner arches but need to roll them. I melt the tyre every time i go over a bump!! (or floor it!!)
