Saw a yank e36 in some crappy film the kids were watching earlier with chrome bottletops...

It looked gash but I was surprised to see them... did the yanks offer it as an option or is it a custom job?

Cant quite see the point in offering it as an option on the crappiest alloys in the world myself. :?

Knowing the yanks it was probabley an option coz they do like there chrome :puke: ...............I cant see the point either on such a shite wheel but why would someone do it as an after market thing on such a crap set of wheels.

Nothing wrong with bottletops,I have two piles of them in the garage, one with servicable tyres and one with 'drift day' tyres...

same reason i have 4 of the delightful bottle tops. plus they are good for MOT stuff right now.

i did run them on the rear for a while on my 318i as it needed all the help i could get to swing the back out
